A missing child alert has been issued for a 15-year-old Yonkers boy who has autism, officials say.

An informational poster released by authorities identifies the child as Mel Harris. He was last seen on a bicycle trail off Sawmill River Road in
Yonkers Saturday around 1 p.m.

He is described as standing at 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 115 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and he was last seen wearing blue glasses, a white T-shirt, gray shorts, and blue Croc sandals.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
