City of Middletown police are investigating a double shooting Wednesday night.

Officials say shots were fired outside of a home on Lake Avenue just before 8 p.m., and that the victims were driven to Garnet Health Medical Center in a SUV.

A viewer sent News 12 a photo of the vehicle at the hospital with crime scene tape around it.

Authorities say one victim was shot in the back and another in the leg.

Police say no arrests have been made.
