Liborio Nieto of Middletown has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after admitting to engaging in sexual activity with a child under the age of 13.

The Orange County District Attorney's Office confirmed the sentencing, emphasizing the severity of Nieto's crime.

Following his prison term, Nieto will serve a 10-year probationary period.

Additionally, he will be required to register as a sex offender.
