A person died after being struck by a Metro-North train in Port Chester.
Reports indicate the individual was hit by a Stamford-bound train near the Port Chester station early Wednesday morning.
Emergency services, MTA police, and railroad officials responded to the scene, resulting in a 30-minute delay on the New Haven line.
No other injuries were reported, and normal service was restored following the incident.
