Two men who thought they were going to buy a PlayStation that was for sale online were robbed Wednesday night in New Rochelle.
Police say the men got to the location to purchase the item and were then directed to meet at a different location.
At the new location, two suspects entered the victim's vehicle. They went to two more locations and ended up at the intersection of Remington Place and Prince Street.
The suspects displayed a handgun and took $300 from the driver and fled.
The police department recommends anyone involved in an internet-based sale to use caution when meeting the seller and to select a safe location, such as a local police department lobby.
