A Scarsdale financial executive accused of killing his wife pleaded not guilty Tuesday in county court in White Plains.
Jules Reich, 62, was arraigned on second-degree murder and weapons charges in connection to the death of his wife in their mansion in January.
Prosecutors say Reich used an 8-inch kitchen knife to stab his 58-year-old wife, Dr. Robin Goldman. They say he stabbed her in the shower 22 times in the chest, stomach and back, puncturing her heart, liver and other organs. They added that Reich then went and smoked a cigarette before calling the police.
Authorities also revealed that Reich's three children have an order of protection against him.
Following the court appearance, Reich's attorney refused to discuss the case.
Reich is due back in court April 5. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.
