A New York City man arrested in Peekskill in March is now facing federal charges for allegedly trying to lure a child to meet him for sex. 

Steven Brown, 62, of Manhattan, is charged with sexual exploitation and attempted enticement. Brown was arrested at a Peekskill hotel where police say he went to meet someone who he thought was an 11-year-old boy.

Brown is due in federal court Wednesday. He is already facing several state charges in the same case.
