The Manhattan District Attorney's office has identified the person they say stabbed a Yonkers teen in a New York City subway station last Saturday.
Last weekend, 14-year-old Ethan Reyes was found dead on a train platform in a north Harlem subway station with a stab wound to his stomach.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead 30 minutes later.
The D.A.'s Office identified 15-year-old Kelvin Martinez as the person who stabbed Reyes and say the two are a part of rival gangs.
Investigators say Reyes and a friend cornered Martinez and then they started to beat him with a broomstick.
Police say it was at that point, Martinez stabbed Reyes in the stomach.
Police then took Martinez into custody 35 blocks from the subway station.
He is now being charged with manslaughter in the first degree.
