A man was rushed to the hospital following a rollover crash on the Saw Mill Parkway in Yonkers Sunday.
The crash happened near Executive Boulevard shortly before 9 a.m. Investigators say the driver of a silver Jeep apparently suffered a seizure while heading north.
The vehicle veered into the guardrail and then tumbled down the parkway.
An off-duty nurse from St. John's Hospital helped treat the driver until emergency workers arrived.
Police say the man, whose identity has not been released, is being treated for serious head and neck injuries at Westchester Medical Center. Three passengers in the car escaped uninjured.
The rollover temporarily shut down the parkway, but it has since been reopened.
