A teenager was shot in the left leg after witnesses in the area reported hearing at least four shots around 7:30 Wednesday morning in Soundview.
The FDNY was called to 661 Rosedale Ave., where they took the shooting victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.
Police tape stretched across the road as officers from the 43rd Precinct investigated the crime scene and collected shell casings.
Three bullet holes were seen in the back door of a grey car parked at the location.
