The man convicted of brutally murdering a Yonkers ATM repairman was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole Tuesday.
Prosecutors say Paul Douglas beat, bound and gagged Milton Moran Jr. and stuffed him in his own trunk in April 2004. Moran was working to repair the ATM at the Citibank on Central Avenue. Moran?s family spoke at the sentencing calling Douglas a monster.
The judge became emotional at the sentencing and told the victim?s father he can now be at peace.
