A man was found dead on the side of the road in Bedford Friday morning.
A neighbor saw the body on Route 22 near Gordon Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. and contacted police.
Police identified the body as 47-year-old Raymond Kelly, of Poughkeepsie.
At this time it is unclear how he died, but authorities say no foul play is suspected.
Officials say there were no visible signs of trauma to the body and so far it does not appear that he was struck by a vehicle or committed suicide.
Authorities are waiting for autopsy results from the coroner.
Kelly's family says he worked as truck driver on the overnight shift at a Mamaroneck construction site and may have been on his way home.
Police have reopened the roadway along Route 22, but the investigation is still ongoing.
Officials found an abandoned Subaru that was rented by Kelly down the road from the where the body was found.
