A memorial is growing for a man who was fatally shot in Mount Vernon while at a vigil for one of his friends who was also killed in a shooting last year.
People gathered on the sidewalk near 129 Monroe St., where police say they found 32-year-old Jeremy Logan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on Wednesday night.
Logan later died at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital.
People who knew Logan say he was honoring his friend Warren Clahar's birthday. Clahar was killed in front of 232 South Fulton Ave. last October while sitting in his car. His death remains unsolved.
Anyone with information is asked to call Mount Vernon police detectives at 914-665-2510.
