The man who was badly burned while on top of a Metro-North train Sunday has died.
An agent for Brian McClellen, 21, of Ohio, says the model and actor has died.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. at the Riverside station in Greenwich. Officials say crews went to check on a power outage and found McClellen on fire on top of the train.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials say McClellen was found on fire atop a Metro-North New Haven Line train shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday in Greenwich. Crew members were trying to figure out why the train lost power when they found him.
Officials say McClellen was burned after the train's mechanical arm, which collects power from overhead wires, came crashing down on him.
MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan says crew members doused McClellen with a fire extinguisher. He was taken to Westchester Medical Center.
Donovan says MTA police are investigating how McClellen got on top of the train and why. The trains are powered by overhead electrical wires.
McClellen's agent tells News 12 he was about to shoot a new series called "Younger" with Hillary Duff, and he was surprised to hear of his death.
