A man is facing charges for driving drunk in the Town of Lloyd after crashing into a state police patrol car on New Year's Day.

The incident occurred on Route 44, where officials were conducting a traffic stop.

During the stop, another car crashed into the back of the patrol car.

The driver, whose identity has not been released, failed a sobriety test and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
