A man is under arrest and accused of assaulting multiple employees at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital Monday night, police say.
According to police, John Prunty was being treated when he threw a table at a nurse and hit another one in the head.
Hospital security attempted to restrain him, but the 22-year-old then hit the two employees and attempted to choke them, authorities say.
Prunty is facing multiple charges including assault.
