A man was arrested overseas - accused of sending more than 150 fake bomb threats and accused of trying to induce a Westchester teen to send sexually explicit images.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 33-year-old Eddie Manuel Nunez Santos was arrested in Peru for sending over 150 hoax bomb threats to schools and other institutions in the United States.
The threats were made between Sept. 15-21.
Two were made to synagogues in Westchester, hours before the start of the Jewish new year.
The Westchester County Airport also received a threat.
The threats were made online and were deemed not credible.
In a separate charge, Santos is accused of attempting to induce a 15-year-old in Westchester County to send sexually explicit pictures over the internet to him in Peru.
The U.S. Attorney's Office alleges he sent the bomb threats in retaliation against her and other kids for refusing to send him photos.
