? Four Mamaroneck High School students appeared in court Thursday in connection with separate arsons at their school.
Eduardo Cornejo, 16, and Hector Barrio, 16, face stiffer charges of felony arson. They are accused of setting a locker room on fire on June 7, forcing the evacuation of 1,400 classmates. The judge lowered their bail from $50,000 to $5,000 each. Cornejo and Barrio must meet a 9 p.m. curfew and undergo family counseling while they await trial. One defense attorney says he is confident his client will be vindicated.
Sophomores Robert Mancino and Juretta Green also appeared in court Thursday. They face arson charges for allegedly setting a school trash can on fire two days later on June 9.
