Mamaroneck community honors those affected by Ida, responders who risked lives during storm

Before kickoff, first responders were recognized for risking their lives to help others during the storm and for helping with ongoing cleanup.

The Mamaroneck community honored those affected by Ida Friday at the varsity high school football's home opener.
Before kickoff, first responders were recognized for risking their lives to help others during the storm and for helping with ongoing cleanup.
The village was among many Sound Shore communities deeply impacted by the storm.
Fans were asked to donate to local organizations at the game that were collecting money to bring resources to those most in need.
