Relief is coming for drivers in Somers after years of complaints about conditions on a busy state road.

State Sen. Pete Harckham and Assemblyman Matt Slater say a $9 million state project will repave Route 202.

The work will fix potholes from Route 35 to Dale Avenue.

Drivers say the current conditions are dangerous and damaging cars. The repaving will begin early next year.
