A Mahopac man has become the latest Hudson Valley resident to be arrested in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
Anthony Vuksanaj, 52, was seen in pictures inside the Capitol, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Charges against him include entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, as well as disorderly conduct in a government building.
Authorities say they first learned about him when he was arrested in connection with a knife point robbery in Westchester last June.
A search of cellphone records indicated it was used at the Capitol the day of the riot.
A tip about video led authorities to identify Vuksanaj as the same person who was being interviewed in the robbery.
He appeared in court on Thursday, but his current status is not known.
