A Putnam County high school is making history with its first-ever unified football game.
Mahopac High School hosted Hendrick Hudson High School in a game that brought together athletes of all abilities. The program gives students with disabilities a chance to show off their skills and school spirit.
"I had the time of my life," said Isabella Gangemi, who played quarterback. "Let's just say there were a lot of touchdowns."
"It feels incredible," added Brandon, a player on the unified team. "I feel shocked in myself too... I'm getting kind of emotional."
Mahopac delivered a strong performance and came out on top.
