From crepes to coffee, Mount Kisco's Little Crepe Street isn't quite so little anymore.

"The business is constantly moving up," said Bonnie Saran, owner of the cafe.

Little Crepe Street's adjacent coffee shop is now back up and running, officially renamed as Little Pink Cup. The original coffee shop, Little Spice Bazaar, opened in 2012 and was a hit with the community. However, became one of the many victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. After being shut down for four and a half years, Saran she knew she wanted to give the cup of joe another go.

"The whole thing was to bring the coffee back," she said. "We've [now] added baked goods...We've got smoothies, great coffees, ice drinks, and now we are introducing the dessert boxes."
The new additions to the menu are made fresh in-house with the help of eight other employees, including manager and head barista, Hugo Guzman.
"We have one of the best baristas over here, Hugo," Saran said. "He's very creative. He is very good with what he does, and we keep trying out a lot of stuff...We play around with some of the Indian spices like turmeric and ginger; anything that pairs well. So, it's like a nice blend that you would not really [see]. We play around with a lot of flavors over here."

The shop and its new menu had its soft opening back in December, with its new name signifying Saran's journey.

"I was in a phase of my life where I had to make a lot of bold decisions," Saran said. "Pink is a very bold color, as well. If I wasn't going through that phase, I don't think I would've come up with this name."

Just four months into reopening, the shop already has already brought new life into the downtown Mount Kisco area, with customers from all over the region lining up for their own little pink cup.

"It's doing really well," Saran said. "We've had days where we have nearly about 150 people over here...We get a lot of people from the city that come in. We get from various towns. We've had people come up from Dobbs Ferry and White Plains and further down [like] Larchmont and all those places. A lot of people come in."

Little Pink Cup is located at 27 E Main St. in Mount Kisco. Saran said the shop’s grand opening is expected to happen sometime in May, but no specific date has been revealed yet. To stay up to date with the cafe's upcoming events, follow its Instagram page.
