WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Drier air continues to work its way into the region into tomorrow.
- Expect fair skies going into the overnight hours with a mild feeling closer to the city but some spots closer to the Catskills will have a touch of a cool and crisp feeling in the air, with lows into the upper-40s.
- Friday is the "Pick of the week" as the whole region will have lots of sunshine, low humidity levels and warm temperatures.
- Saturday has humidity levels on the rise with temperatures at seasonable levels. A shower chance does pop up late in the day, but is not a big concern until after sunset.
- Sunday will see the bulk of the showers from overnight Saturday fade in the morning hours but scattered pop-up showers are possible in the afternoon. It will be very muggy that day.
- July is just around the corner, and so is another round of comfortable air. Monday and Tuesday are pleasant with humidity levels rising heading into Wednesday and July 4.
- For now, Independence Day looks shower-free but warm and muggy.
