A 60-year-old woman was charged with manslaughter Monday after police say she ran over her boyfriend in Port Chester.
Police say Maureen Jackson ran over 39-year-old Jeffrey Schribman, of Port Chester, after the two had an argument Sunday. Police believe Schribman was standing in front of Jackson's car to try and stop her from leaving his home and that's when she ran him over. Witnesses were able to get Jackson's plate number, but she eventually turned herself in to Mount Kisco police. Neighbors say the victim was living at a home for emotionally disturbed men.
Jackson appeared in court Monday for a hearing. She is being held at the Westchester County Jail without bail. Jackson is scheduled to appear in court again on February 1.
