The Business Council of Westchester recognized some outstanding achievements of businesses and non-profits in Westchester last evening.
The council handed out its annual 'Business Champion Awards' at Manhattanville College in Purchase.
The awards honor businesses or organizations that have relocated, expanded or started in the county.
Pace University, Kawasaki Rail Car and First Niagara Bank were all honored for making significant positive impacts in the county. "I think what sets Pace apart from our peers is that we have great professional preparation for our students. We have many business alumni in the Westchester community," says William McGrath, from Pace University.
