Pictures of Yonkers gang members have recently surfaced on YouTube, and experts say they are using the Internet to recruit more young members.

The video that appeared on the Web site shows gang members flashing their signs, guns and cash.

Jim Bostic, the head of the Yonkers Nepperhan Community Center and Anti-Gang Coalition, says the YouTube images are not only used as a marketing tool, they are also meant to send a message to law enforcement and rival gangs.

Police say the gangs seen in the videos are from southwest Yonkers and take their names from where they are active, St. Andrews Place and Downing Street.
