Rizzo, at least for the most part, Mike. We're dry here again today. Yeah, we're dry here today and we're dry for the most part until the weekend, you know, Sunday night into Monday, maybe something's coming through. And I think it's more likely that something is by that time. But hey, we got a couple of days to work out the details and I promise by the end of the week, we'll have some more understanding of when it's coming and what exactly it is. But right now, I do know it's rain. So that's all I kind of know as we head into the weekend. So future cast for the term calls are just building clouds today. By 230 this afternoon, you'll see a deck of clouds across the state. It's actually not going to be a bad deal. Overnight. Clouds continue to pass through, maybe a rope sprinkled, but many of us will be sleeping when that happens by tomorrow morning, it's actually going to be cold, 35 degrees, passing clouds, some breaks of sun. Really. Not a bad day. Tomorrow, there's going to be some weak energy in the upper atmosphere that could spark a rogue flurry, maybe a Sprinkle. Warren, Morris Sussex counties. Not a big, most people probably not even going to see them, but there's that chance and more or less temperatures in the lower forties probably means that it's going to be rain or like a little Sprinkle. Right. Not rain but a Sprinkle. So, just be aware of that for Wednesday afternoon. I don't think it's going to be much of an issue. Breaks of sun, mostly cloudy out of, of things are just pretty steady and into Wednesday. Now come Thursday, there was going to be another piece of energy generally over the west is going to be over Pennsylvania mostly. But for us, we're just going to seeing temperatures in the low forties, breaks of sun, mostly cloudy conditions and South Jersey, uh that's Burlington County and South probably going to be dealing with a, a quick little like a Sprinkle or a shower as it had toward a Thursday night. Otherwise the rest of us are going to be dealing with quiet weather into Fridays. The sun emerges out and then as we get into the weekend, that's where we're going to be watching for Sunday. 10 day forecast highlights our temperatures kind of moving up into Friday and Saturday with sunshine temperatures in the fifties. If we take a look at Sunday, I do want you to note that there will be rain at some point on Sunday as a passing front comes through, it's gonna kick in some winds, it's gonna kick in some rain and this is likely going to happen toward the evening. Now, the good news is that it's not cold enough to support any kind of snow. Temperature is going to be near 56 degrees. So do keep in mind that it's likely just the rain as we head into the second half of the weekend and early next week looks windy, but temperatures come back down into the forties.

Right now, storm watch teams, Hoose has been tracking some chilly weather making its way. Are we a chilly or cold? Hope, what are we looking at now? Chilly, too cold. So we're starting off with some chilly temperatures tomorrow and then it's just going to gradually get colder as the week goes on. So here's a first look at what you can expect. This week, the cold does return some wet weather and then we warm up, warm up. So a little bit of a roller coaster that we need to get through as we get through the next couple of days. But this is where we're starting the day, mid to upper thirties to start our Tuesday, we're going to see a little bit of that sunshine, but the cold, that's what you're gonna feel tomorrow morning feel like temperatures will be near 30 degrees. So in the afternoon, mid forties and then we start to experience some colder air. By Wednesday morning, you're waking up the temperatures near 30 degrees once again and it looks like temperatures are really struggle to get to near 40 degrees by Wednesday afternoon. The only good thing about this weather pattern is that we're not seeing any wet weather that's going to hold off until the weekend. But the coldest air that we'll experience this week will be actually Wednesday night into Thursday morning, temperatures will be in the mid to upper twenties, feeling like the low twenties and even the thirties as the day goes on. So as we get into the end of the week, it is going to be dry but milder Friday and Saturday looks and feels amazing. But this is what we're watching for our Sunday, the storm system, it is going to bring in a swath of rain and even some gusty winds, we're still ironing out the details to find out the exact timing and impact for the storm. So keep it in our new 12 and we'll let you know as the week goes on. But in the short term, it is going to be cold by tomorrow and even through Thursday.

This morning with meteorologist Matt Hammer telling us what to expect for Tuesday. Yeah, you're going to want the winter coat and maybe the gloves and the hat too. Not only for the morning hours these next couple of days but into the afternoon as well. We are dealing with a bit of a colder feel as we look outside, still dark and early until just after seven in the morning. And it will be a pretty decent sunrise again this morning before more clouds take over through the day just like yesterday where we started off with the sunshine early. We have more clouds increasing except today is a colder day. Now, this is what it feels like outside right now. 29 in Yorktown Heights to 27 in Middletown, right at the freezing mark in Poughkeepsie, 34 in Yonkers. So dress warmly this morning. Future cast shows temperatures barely touching the low forties into the afternoon hours today with more gray, more clouds increasing for the afternoon this evening and later on tonight, dry, but mostly cloudy temperatures over. It will be in the mid thirties into early on Wednesday morning. Now tomorrow is a day that will feature mostly cloudy skies pretty much the entire day and it is a colder field tomorrow and there can be an isolated flurry or two mixing in during the day tomorrow. I think there's a little bit of a better chance for that on Thursday. This is nothing significant but just it'll, it'll pair nicely if you will with the, the chillier feel, adding a couple of festive snowflakes in the air but nothing that's going to stick to the ground. Anything like that. Just might notice a couple of those snow flakes as we go throughout tomorrow and especially Thursday in terms of what to wear today, have the heavier coat, have the sunglasses for the morning, have the hat, the gloves, all of that, a high barely around 42 degrees and even with a lighter wind by the afternoon hours at 5 to 10 MPH as that wind dies off this morning and into the afternoon, that can still make it feel like the upper thirties during the afternoon hours today. Overnight tonight, upper and low thirties, mostly cloudy but dry with light winds still out of the north and then tomorrow is a mostly cloudy and mostly dry day again with highs right around 40 degrees, but there can be a stray flurry mixed in the same for Thursday as well. Temperatures warm up starting Friday 48 pick of the week is Saturday clouds and breaks of sun 53 before rain and some breezy conditions arrive on Sunday next week, chillier with highs in the forties but mostly dry for Monday through Thursday. Today, any chance we get this time of year to get them outside. Go, go, go. Absolutely. Get outside. You know, yesterday, we were rich. We had temperatures in the fifties and now we're going to see a bit of a chill the next several days and take a look. Our temperatures out here for this morning are sorting out in the thirties and forties. Good morning River ahead. 37 degrees. 39 Rocky 0.40 in Smithtown. 41 in Bay Shore. Our typical average low now is 32 degrees and we're going to see more colder weather coming away over the next couple of days. So, running out the door this morning, this is what you dress for, feels like temperatures or those wind chills around freezing this morning. So, at the train platforms at the bus stops, yeah, a bit of a chill going throughout our day. And the morning sunshine goes back to the clouds during our afternoon hours as we have cold air in place later today. Look at us around three o'clock, 43 degrees in corm high temperature day of 44 that is dead from 54 degrees that we had yesterday. So really nice afternoon yesterday, even though we had the clouds now today take a look. Starting off this morning sunshine from Hempstead over to Uniondale and Elmont Floral Park out towards Bellport, Mastic to Yapan. We're looking at some sunny skies this morning and then during the afternoon with the clouds, it's gonna be feeling chilly or cold. Take a look as we go to four temperatures are in the lower forties. So towards the evening rush hour dry conditions. So it's sunshine this morning clouds this afternoon. Temperatures only in the forties, your dry for the evening rush, mostly cloudy skies overnight into tomorrow morning. Temperatures are in the thirties. Now, during the day on Wednesday, partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies, it's gonna feel cold. Notice our temperatures are in the thirties in the morning. Really don't rebound all that much tomorrow afternoon. There's going to be a slight chance of a quick Sprinkle or flurry a little bit of moisture possible during Wednesday afternoon, a reinforcing shot of cold air Thursday morning, twenties to sort off our day to low thirties. And then during the afternoon hours of Thursday, we'll have some clouds and temperatures are going to struggle to around 40 degrees. And then for the weekend, we get a warm up on Sunday, but here comes that rain, some of it could be moderate at times highs today near 44 sunshine this morning. Then the clouds come in thirties tonight mostly cloudy. It's cold, cold for the start of Hanukkah. Then the warm up towards the weekend and tracking that rain Sunday into Monday morning.

Good stuff there. All right, let's get another check of the weather. Yeah, Alan's back and we're talking cold weather like we're probably used to doing in December. Right. A right. Right. So we're pretty much back to where we should be this time of year. And you think today is cold gets even colder into tomorrow. So, let's take a look. Let's fast forward 24 hours and what we're going to see our temperatures close to the freezing mark tomorrow morning, especially northern parts of our bro. So Riverdale and North Bay Chester close to that freezing mark and it's going to feel like a little bit below freezing. So definitely colder than this morning. 34 for sound, be 35 for throgs that not much of an improvement into the afternoon as we're going to see lots of cloud cover, keeping us on the cold side. So it's going to be a struggle to reach 40 degrees. I think most of us do that. But it's going to feel like the thirties all day long. So, back to that December kind of cold hour by hour, you can see most of the day we're in the thirties, maybe during that two o'clock hour, we do reach the 40 degree mark. Then things get a little bit interesting for Thursday. Notice clouds come right back in and look at the left side of the screen over there. That's right. That's snow. So for us it's just going to be cold, it's going to be about 39 degrees. Then look at that. A couple of snowflakes are pretty close to us here in the Bronx. Of course, this is still a couple of days out, but I can't rule out a couple of those snowflakes, but the forecast is definitely improving most of the day is going to be dry. So looking at Hanukkah as it is ushering in uh for sunset, the temperatures, they are going down from 39 degrees into the middle 30. So you definitely want to bundle up if you're going out and about 10 day forecast is going to show warm up goes really, really into overdrive this weekend. But so does the rain chance big storm system looks likelier and likelier when exactly on Sunday, we're figuring that out, but move those plans to Saturday. Good advice for everyone. Thank you, Alan. And storm watch team. Meteorologist Scott Skoff is here now and hey, it looks pretty nice and sunny out there. Oh, it's be a beautiful, nice. It is looking great. Today is actually gonna be one of the nicest days of the week because tomorrow it's gonna be some changes. Yeah, some changes might not be the best thing in the world. But hey, you know what, today, let's just go outside and enjoy it. Pleasant conditions. Gonna be a cloudy and breezy into the afternoon. So all in, all looking peachy keen out there, we are seeing some good conditions out across western Connecticut. But as you go towards tomorrow and Wednesday, even Thursday, things are gonna get colder. So be ready for that winter gear, subfreezing temperatures in the mornings, real cold in the afternoons, upper thirties to around 40 colder as the week progresses. But then the temperatures rise back up Friday in the forties, fifties on the weekend. But Sunday could come with a catch. Some showers are on the way, even some stronger winds and that's what we're gonna be seeing really off and on throughout the week. 10 to 20 MPH. So, garbage cans might get knocked over, secure them in the garage. Anchor down those holiday decorations, the inflatables you don't want Mr Grinch going all over down to your neighbor's house. Right, because we are looking at a little bit of snow over in New York state that is gonna be just to our north. But however, we could see a stray raindrop lake or ice pedal coming on in from the Great Lakes over the next several hours as colder air comes on. And right now though mainly cloudy skies as that's gonna be continuing to push across Litchfield, Fairfield and New Haven counties into the overnight hours. So what are you looking at cloudy skies this afternoon? Temperatures in the upper forties to around 50 degrees? That's really the warmest it's gonna get throughout the day. Temperatures will cool down with a little bit of moisture pushing in around dinner time towards war in Cornwall, Litchfield County along and north of 84. Then that cooler air is gonna dry us out, make us real cold towards Cornwall 2930 is up. So across the region Tuesday morning. So kids definitely have the jacket on their way to school and then a few more clouds into the afternoon for your Tuesday. But today, upper forties toward the north fifties down to the south, mostly the partly sunny skies, more breezy and cloudy conditions as the day goes on with a few gusty winds overnight, those temperatures dropping to around freezing with clearing conditions into the morning. Tomorrow, those winds will make it feel a little bit colder into the twenties. But then as we go into your Tuesday tomorrow, 43 degrees 40 on Wednesday, 38 on Thursday, looking at some more wind and clouds and then those temperatures increase forties and fifties as Hanukkah progresses, then some rain chances on Sunday. Well, he stars on the hit Tyler Perry series, The Oval. And in addition to being a really good actor, Nick Baratta is also a really good cook and his whole family is, and I met up with him and his grandma to talk food family and how to make the perfect pasta. Nick Barrada. Thank you so much for having us at your family restaurant. The Ivy, you know, a lot of people are used to seeing you on television and Tyler Perry is the oval, but you're also helping out in your family restaurant. So tell us about this place. Yeah, this place is amazing. We're going on two years now, which I, I can't believe I gotta give a lot of credit to my brother Zach. Ok. This place is a beast. So I'm just here to help when I can. All right, but it's his blood, sweat and tears into this place. I can't take all the credit. Uh, but you, I said we're going on two years and uh I wanna show you some good food. All right, what are we making today? All right. So this is one of our signature dishes here. The Baratta pasta. Ok. We have the fresh rigatoni here, which is incredible. What we do is we add this crispy pancetta a little basil and we have our Baratta uh cheese here. But we spell that like your last name. You spell that right there. So we add that on top and then we Sprinkle some of this Loli cheese here as well. I'm real Nancy. We just throw some color on as well. I'm gonna get started decorating this a little bit. And while I'm doing this, you know, when you're not on television, you're also very popular for making viral dance videos with your grandma. Tell us how that all got started. Well, my grandma, 96 years young, ok, this year grandma here on 96 years young, believe this beautiful unreal. I keep her young with these dance movies, but you know, she's really a better dancer than me. So it's, it's right. We wiggle and we dance. That's right. Well, it's probably a great exercise for you as well. Right. Oh, yeah, great exercise. We keep you young. Graham. Show him a little something. 00, well, grandma, I gotta ask you, what do you think about all these viral videos? People all over the world have now seen you, millions of people see your dance moves. What do you think about that? Well, we, we have a lot of fun. We, we laugh, he comes into my backyard unexpected and he'll say grandma, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do that and we get hysterical laughing and she, you know what? She's got fans all over the world. Let me tell you, we post on tiktok and she calls me up. She goes, Nick, what are the fans saying today? Well, I gotta ask you what is the secret to staying so youthful at 96 year old? Still being able to dance and have all that energy movement, positive thinking, enjoying every moment of your life. That's it. Love, love the world, love people and a lot of great food. I'm sure because look, I've been trying to work up these dishes, but we wanna see some of the other signature dishes that you guys have here at the restaurant. Now that I've bam finished this one, I think I did pretty good. Who is that little chicken to top it off with? That looks good. All right, you got your brother Zach here. What did you bring for us, Zach? So today we have our signature filet. We have our grandmother's meatballs and then we have our signature chicken scarp. OK?
