Crews were hard at work Friday converting a village park into the home of Westchester’s big summer music event.
Works at Parkway Field built stages, tents and more ahead of Saturday’s Pleasantville Music Festival.
Preparations were underway several days earlier, but Friday saw the delivery of the stage structures.
Festival executive director Bruce Figler says the day before the big show is always a lively time.
"This is like a bee colony on the Friday before the festival, everyone's running around, doing things, people barking out orders, people carrying heavy things and I like to sit back and watch it,” says Figler.
The festival kicks off noon Saturday, headlined by Better Than Ezra, The Record Company and The Wailers.
