An upcoming Netflix movie called "The Life List” was filmed in Rockland on Thursday.
It’s based off the best selling novel about a woman completing her childhood bucket list.
News 12 was given photos from Frank LoBuono, of Sojourner Productions, of film crews in the Village of Nyack.
The production turned Main Street to look like a fall day in Burlington Vermont, specifically filming at a local restaurant, Wasabi, and the First Reformed Church of Nyack on South Broadway.
Nyack has welcomed a number of film crews in the past.
“We’re a community full of artists and we love to accommodate other artists. It’s just really exciting,” said Nyack Mayor Joseph Rand. “It’s also really a lot of fun when you turn on the TV and you see ‘Staten Island’ but it’s Nyack or ‘Burlington, Vermont’ and it’s Nyack.”
News 12 is told Thursday’s filming helped the local economy through buying the necessary permits, other production crew needs, and paying at least a dozen local businesses.
