Isolated showers overnight; sun and clouds this weekend
News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says there will be some showers throughout the evening and into Saturday morning, but it will be mostly dry throughout much of next week.

- A few spotty showers are possible into Saturday morning as a storm system moves through the region.
- A cold front attached to that system will help to bring colder air into the region over the course of the NYE/NYD holiday weekend.
- Temps will cool down to normal levels, for this time of year (unlike how it has been recently) and will trend that way through next week.
- There will be a dry stretch of weather through much of next week.
