Isolated showers overnight; sun and clouds this weekend

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
  • A few spotty showers are possible into Saturday morning as a storm system moves through the region.
  • A cold front attached to that system will help to bring colder air into the region over the course of the NYE/NYD holiday weekend.
  • Temps will cool down to normal levels, for this time of year (unlike how it has been recently) and will trend that way through next week.
  • There will be a dry stretch of weather through much of next week.
