A Liberty man is facing multiple felony charges, including assault and criminal possession of a weapon, after allegedly assaulting someone with a knife at Liberty Motel.

The victim, found at the scene, had suffered a cut to his head.

The suspect, Yockol Powell, was located shortly after and arrested.
