Towns across Long Island are remembering 9/11 as Saturday will mark 20 years since the terror attacks.
A tribute in lights will take place at Manhasset Town Hall this evening.
The town’s 18 fire departments will be present at the ceremony, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
In Kings Park, nearly 300 United States flags have been placed along Route 25A in front of Kings Park High School.
News 12 is told more than 100 residents took part in putting up the tribute for Sept. 11.
Members of the community also made donations to sponsor the flags.
A rededication ceremony is also set to take place today for Sachem High School North’s newly refurbished 9/11 memorial.
Students and staff are welcome for that unveiling.
