President Donald Trump and health officials in Washington, D.C. announced Monday that the FDA will strongly recommend women limit the use of Tylenol during pregnancy, due to what they call a high risk of autism.
Dr. Kevin Holcomb, the chair of the OBGYN department at North Shore University Hospital, tells News 12 there is "no credible evidence" of a link between Tylenol use and autism during pregnancy.
But autism advocates, like John Gilmore, of the Autism Action Network, say this announcement validates what they've been saying for years.
