The highly anticipated grand opening of Legoland in Goshen was held Friday, with a visit from Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Gov. Cuomo says Legoland will bring in millions of dollars in tax revenue each year and has already created hundreds of jobs.
All seven of the mega-theme park's Lego-themed lands are open for business. A portion of the park was opened earlier this summer while the rest of the $400 million theme park was under construction.
The Legoland hotel with 250 rooms also opened earlier this month.
Despite delays from the pandemic, Legoland's soft opening has been wildly successful with families -- so much so that some annual ticket holders have had trouble signing up for tickets.
Legoland says that problem should soon be resolved since more tickets are available now that the park is fully open.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online.
