From sharks to sea lion, visiting the animals at Mystic Aquarium can provide a fun way to connect with our oceans.
One of the great things about an aquarium is people don't have the opportunity to see many of these animals in their day to day life. At Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, visitors will have the opportunity to see over 300 different species of animals, including beluga whales.
A rescue facility is also on site that takes in Pinnipeds, Crustaceans and turtles with the goal to release them back into the ocean.
Those working at aquarium say they hope people not only inspired, but eager to learn more about the animals as well as the work done by aquariums and zoos.
