Westchester County Executive George Latimer provided a coronavirus update Wednesday afternoon.

- 15,887 COVID-19 cases in Westchester - 50,000+ tests
- Total county deaths reach 315.
- CASES -- Yonkers: 1,913, New Rochelle: 870, Mt. Vernon: 805. Greenburgh: 699, White Plains: 483, Mt. Pleasant: 481, Port Chester: 355, Ossining: 321, Pound Ridge: 7.
- Latimer: 3,000+ hospital rooms in WC, so numbers are still sufficient to handle cases right now.
- Latimer toured the County Center, saw the construct of the 110 beds, 'incredible to see.'
- Economic Development Team has made efforts to see impacts on local businesses -- 60% say they have not laid off staff, but 70% believe they'll need major assistance.
- Latimer: Leaving parks officials to disperse people who are not social distancing in open public areas. Says often, people respond to orders.
- Latimer stresses that he's seen gloves, masks discarded in public places, that residents need to properly dispose of these items.
