Raymond Snyder, 41, of Kingston, has been convicted of second-degree murder and burglary in connection with the 2020 killing of Romero Underwood.
Prosecutors said Snyder pistol-whipped and fatally shot Underwood in an apartment on St. James Street that Snyder shared with his girlfriend.
Authorities stated the shooting was motivated by a dispute over drugs.
A key piece of evidence linking Snyder to the crime was a single blood droplet on the apartment wall, which matched his DNA profile.
Snyder's sentencing is pending.
