Some Westchester High School students had a unique way of getting ready for their college entrance exams this summer.
For the past seven weeks, 60 Yonkers students entering their final year of high school have been preparing for the SATs and ACTs by learning from teen tutors from other school districts.
YPIE, or Yonkers Partners in Education, is a non-profit group that helped paired up the Yonkers students with teens from Bronxville High School and Horace Greeley in Chappaqua.
An advantage for the students in the program is not only to learn how to take a test, but form friendships along the way.
