Angelika Graswald admitted to causing her fiance’s death on the Hudson River, but the parolee who served nearly three years behind bars is now attempting to clear her name in a magazine spread and a Netflix special.

The so-called ‘Kayak Killer’ is now 14 months free on parole and attempting to clear her name.

Graswald was recently pictured submerged in a bathtub in a six-page Elle magazine spread titled "Slippery When Wet." She will also be featured in an as-yet released Netflix docuseries about coerced confessions called "The Confession Tapes."

Graswald's defense has spent years both in and out of court trying to explain her bizarre behavior on social media in the days following Vincent Viafore's drowning on the Hudson while the two kayaked, including statements she made to police like "I wanted him dead."

The 2015 tragedy was considered one of the Hudson Valley's most notorious murder cases.

Without any hard evidence, prosecutors and Graswald eventually agreed to a charge of negligent homicide and she was sentenced to time served.

While Graswald continues to go public, Viafore's family remains private. They released a statement Thursday that said, "She claims to have a bright future ahead of her, wonderful. Then why sensationalize Vinny's tragic death?  We all just want to move on, why won't she?"

The Viafore family settled a civil case with Graswald and her claim to their son's life insurance in a confidential agreement last year. Her attorney says Graswald will likely return to her native country of Latvia after her parole ends in April.
