ALERTS: Freeze Warning in effect for late tonight into Wednesday morning. Freeze Watch in effect for late Wednesday into Thursday morning.

FORECAST:

Sunshine and wind gusts today will make it a cooler, spring day with high temperatures only getting into the low and middle 50s. Gusts could be up around 30-35 mph blowing all the tree pollen around.

Tonight, skies will be clear, and temperatures will drop below freezing for much of the state. A Freeze Warning has been issued for parts of central and south Jersey, where the growing season has begun, so sensitive vegetation needs to be protected overnight into Wednesday morning.

And once again Wednesday night into Thursday morning, a frost or freeze is possible.

Otherwise, expect a good amount of sunshine this week and into the weekend. Temperatures will be warming to nearly 70 degrees by the end of the week. And looking ahead into next week we could reach 80 degrees.
