Six K-9 officers and their handlers graduated during a ceremony in Yonkers after 17 weeks of training Wednesday afternoon.
The dogs were trained to locate lost children, drugs, weapons and fugitives.
The six graduates include K-9 officers from Yonkers, Mount Vernon, Westchester County police and Ramapo.
The dogs will return to school in September to focus on a specialty, such as recovering narcotics or bombs.
