K-9 Officer Ike receives bulletproof vest in Mamaroneck

This new protective vest ensures Ike can continue to serve the community safely alongside his human counterparts.

The Village of Mamaroneck's Police Department recently equipped K-9 Ike, with a new bulletproof and stab protective vest, thanks to the nonprofit organization Vested Interest in K9s.
The initiative is open to U.S. dogs at least 20 months old who are actively employed and certified with law enforcement agencies.
Additionally, K-9s with expired vests are also eligible to participate in the program.
This new protective vest ensures Ike can continue to serve the community safely alongside his human counterparts. The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department expressed gratitude for the support provided by Vested Interest in K9s in keeping their K-9 officers safe while on duty.
