Ardsley police and FBI officials credit a local police dog, K-9 Hudson, with helping locate evidence in the swift apprehension of a bank robbery suspect.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, allegedly held up a Chase Bank branch in Ardsley before fleeing the scene.

Following the robbery, K-9 Hudson and his handler, Police Officer Sullivan, were deployed to the area. The duo quickly located a firearm and stolen money that the suspect had attempted to discard while trying to evade capture.
