A federal judge has ordered Lawrence Ray to pay restitution of $5.5 million to victims of his yearslong predatory crimes against students at Yonkers-based Sarah Lawrence College.
Ray was sentenced in January to 60 years in prison after his conviction on charges including sex trafficking, extortion and racketeering.
For over a decade beginning in 2010, authorities say he met students while living in his daughter's room at the college and subjected them to sexual and psychological manipulation and physical abuse.
Several of the victims testified during his trial.
In his order signed on March 7, the judge wrote that the government may pursue other remedies to enforce the judgment if the defendant defaults on the payment schedule.
Ray is appealing his conviction.
