The father and son linked to a deadly fire at a Spring Valley nursing home were back in court today.
Nathaniel Sommer and his son Aaron face multiple felony charges including manslaughter, arson and assault.
Court documents say the men blowtorching the oven led to the March 23 fire at Evergreen Court in Spring Valley. The fire killed a firefighter and a resident.
A judge approved new counsel for the two men today.
Their lawyer declined to comment to News 12. Both will be back in court Dec. 14.
