And we're taking another look at the forecast. Morning, temperatures are going to be warm, but temps will fall throughout the day and there's still rain out there for that morning commute. So there could be a couple of issues on the roads plan accordingly. Travel could be a little disrupted by that rain. Now, there will be some snow falling mainly north, but that's going to be very brief and it doesn't look like we'll see much of an accumulation, but either way it's going to be damp out for the morning commute, the afternoon will be and colder. So make sure you have something waterproof for the morning, grab a rain jacket, don't wear the good shoes tomorrow, it's going to be very wet out, but later it up underneath because temperatures will be colder. S ra are still looking pretty messy across the area. And like I mentioned in terms of snow, there's not going to be very much but just parts of northern Litchfield County and as you go up in elevation, so this upcoming week as a whole is going to be a lot drier than what we're seeing right now. And those temperatures are in the forties.

And another update for our storm watch across lower Hudson Valley. So this is what we got going on for us until we get into our Monday early afternoon. Around 1 p.m. We are looking for a flood watch to be impacting for us throughout the rest of tonight and again until Monday afternoon for all of the lower Hudson Valley. So a breakdown of what we are expecting from the rest of tonight and into our Monday morning, especially from our threats level. Well, we have the flood watch because we are expecting about 1 to 2 inches of rain to be likely for us once the event is all set and done. So street flooding is possible in even hyper localized areas as well. So just be mindful that it's going to be a bit of a mess when trying to travel going into our Monday morning. Then once we're done with the flooding, we are also looking at some windy conditions right behind it. So not necessarily done with the flooding, but the other threat from the storm system is going to be the fact that we could be seeing winds between 30 to 40 MPH. So isolated power outages could be possible because of downed power lines or even trees due to the over saturated ground and the strong wind and himself. So getting into the rest of our rain chances from overnight into our Monday morning, from overnight into Monday morning, we are looking for rain to continue for us. Now, will it be heavy at the time? Not all the time. We are looking for a bit more weaker rainfall overnight, moderate to light rain, especially by the time we get into our Monday morning early, but we do have periods of seeing some of that heavy rain stick around throughout that uh part as well. But take a look at our wind gusts. This is what we're gonna be expecting from overnight into our Monday morning. It's not gonna be overly strong but between 20 to near 25 MPH, especially as we get closer towards our Monday late morning hours. But in the afternoon, we are expecting for those winds to pick up just a bit more as the system starts to exit. And with it, we're looking at colder temperatures as well. So don't only just prepare for the wet weather but be prepared for Monday morning to be a cold one. Temperatures into the upper thirties and near the lower forties throughout across the lower Hudson Valley as we start off on Monday morning. And with this cold air roll its way in on the upper levels, we could see a couple of snow flakes or wintry mixes for the northern parts of the lower Hudson Valley. So how much rain we could be expecting? Well for the rest of the event overnight into our Monday morning, potentially another inch of rainfall. But as long as we're not seeing a whole lot of heavy rain in a short period of time, our flood risk will be on the lower end. Again, It will just be mainly hyper local, but it's still something to pay attention to and be mindful of going into our Monday. Now, taking a look at our winds again, early Monday morning, not as strong, but once we get into our afternoon, we are looking between 20 to 30 MPH, gusting winds until we get into our Monday nights, we're still gonna be a bit breezy, but it's not gonna be nearly as strong as we are gonna be expecting overnight for us. Now, here's a look at our Monday in itself again. We're looking at gusty and rain in the morning sun once we get into our afternoon, but it will be a cold one as temperatures will be near the middle forties. Heading into the rest of the week. We're gonna see those lower forties stick around for us but it will be dry.

Jewelry designer launches new pickleball charm bracelet to raise funds for Stand Up to Cancer

We decided, why not take advantage of everybody who loves, pick a ball to do something great with a stand up to cancer Day. Less than a month away, Elise Rosenstock is now on a mission to raise money for the cause one bracelet at a time, the Connecticut based designer just launched a new pickle ball charm, hoping to raise funds for the charity near and dear to her heart. Rosen Stock's mom was diagnosed with cancer four years ago, a few years ago and died nine months later. It's a gift to um to unite people and make a difference and in honor of my mother and all the people that are suffering and um have lost their loved ones. This is why I do it. So we all continue to stack together and you know, hopefully make differences stand up to. Cancer Day is Friday, September 8th and the proceeds from the pickle ball bracelet will go to charity.
