Every day Make-A-Wish New Jersey fulfills the wishes of sick children around the state. A $250,000 donation will help give the organization’s talent show a boost.
The Make-A-Wish Castle in Monroe Township will be getting upgrades to its theater. The money came from the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
Kids like Izzy Rita perform there first and then go on to New York for the Radio City Music Hall Talent Show.
"I think this upgrade will really enhance people's experience, now that they're performing on the upgraded stage,” Rita says. “I think it will make everyone's chance to shine even more bright."
Make-A-Wish and the Garden of Dreams Foundation have been partners for 18 years. The talent show at Radio City is next spring.
