A television show pitched by Warner Bros. starring former Westchester District Attorney Jeanine Pirro will not be in the line up.
Pirro had reportedly signed a million dollar contract for a show called ?Celebrity Jury.? The show?s concept was to have celebrities as jurors and Pirro as the judge ruling on real-life small claims lawsuits. Jack Breslin, a communications professor at Iona College in New Rochelle, thinks Pirro?s legal troubles did not help in getting the show picked up.
Last year, Pirro admitted federal authorities were looking at her attempt to bug her husband?s boat, where she thought he was having an affair. More recently, questions were raised about Pirro?s homemade jewelry business. With a grand jury still sitting and her fate unknown, Pace University Law professor Bennett Gershman says Pirro is a commodity producers can't bank on.
