Home sales in Hudson Valley continued to decline in January as prices increased, according to a report by the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors.
The report cited a limited supply and strong demand as the reason for the current market conditions.
Sales of single-family homes fell nearly 13% in Westchester while the median sales price jumped nearly 5.5% to $858,000.
Single-family home sales also dropped in Rockland and Orange Counties while the median sales price increased in both.
Home sales are expected to increase as more homes come to the market in spring.
